AnnaSophia Robb Offers Prayers for Her Alma Mater After School Shooting

Nearly a year after an awful shooting rocked the community surrounding Sandy Hook Elementary, 18-year-old Karl Pierson opened fire at Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colorado on Friday (December 13).

The shooting left one girl critically injured, and the shooter also killed himself, and Arapahoe alum AnnaSophia Robb watched the news updates, seeing students of her alma mater fleeing for the exits.

The "Carrie Diaries" starlet hopped on her Twitter account, writing about the tragedy, "Please ?#pray? for ?#ArapahoeHigh?- don't know exactly what is going on there with the shooter but Lord keep the kids and faculty safe."

She also wrote, "My heart hurts so much right now for my alma mater ?#ArapahoeHighSchool? '?#Warriors? always take care of each other."

And finally calling for stricter gun laws, AnnaSophia concluded, "Let's get our ?#guns? under control ?#america?. We need stricter laws. This is crazy ?#ArapahoeHighSchool? We need 2 b proactive abt caring 4 one another & being a friend 2 those who have none. Life is 2 fragile, 2 precious.?#Arapahoe? ?#Colorado?"
