Looking to boost Britain’s athletic prowess, Kate Middleton has announced her patronage of the SportsAid charity, and she’s even paying a visit to the organization later this month.
According to a Kensington Palace source, the Duchess of Cambridge will attend the SportsAid workshop at the Copper Box in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on October 18th, marking her first official meeting.
Young athletic hopefuls will receive training in soccer, volleyball, fencing, badminton, wheelchair basketball, with some of the events adapted for players with Cerebral Palsy.
Also slated to appear are Olympians and Paralympians like Katherine Grainger, Karen Pickering, and Ade Adepitan.
