Her VMA performance elicited a lot of backlash and now Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" video is ruffling the feathers of a few.

Featuring the former Disney darling swinging naked from a wrecking ball and seductively licking a sledgehammer, the images caused Shenae Grimes to ask on Tuesday (September 10), "WTF is up with Miley's new music video?!"

Taking on a maternal role, the "90210" star added, "I mean, I don't know the girl but if I did I'd demand she bath twice, put some clothes on and give her a big hug...looks like she needs it."

However, the controversy seems to be just fueling her popularity, as Miley shared that the video broke the Vevo record for most views in 24 hours, tweeting, "Y'all did went so above and beyond with wrecking ball :) I love you so much and thank you for breaking the vevo record!!!"
