Putting her starpower to work for a good cause, Kate Hudson spoke at the Clinton Global Initiative meeting in New York City on Wednesday (September 25).

The "Almost Famous" star looked beautiful and vibrant on stage in a cream blouse and black blazer as she joined political leaders, CEOS, and philanthropists to help find solutions to the world's major problems.

Working with Ann Taylor on its ANNPower initiatives, the 34-year-old actress talked about working to further women leadership around the world.

Established in 2005, CGI members have made more than 2,300 commitments, which have improved the lives of over 400 million people in more than 180 countries.
