Twerking may have been around for quite awhile, but since Miley Cyrus busted out the move during her VMA performance, everyone seems to be getting down.

In an effort to educate octogenarian Barbara Walters on the latest craze, Sherri Shepherd and new host Jenny McCarthy demonstrated twerking on "The View" on Monday (September 9).

Though Sherri jumped at the chance to show off her groove, the newcomer blamed her tight dress as she made a feeble attempt at hip thrusting.

Posting a photo of her outfit on her inaugural episode, Jenny tweeted, "First day working/twerking dress today from @saks." Check out the gals demonstration in the video below.
