Stepping out for a social call, Gerard Butler met up with some friends at Cecconi’s in West Hollywood last night (September 24).

After a few hours of dinner and drinks, the “PS I Love You” actor strolled out to his car, sporting a casual t-shirt and jeans combo.

In addition to his rumored role in the forthcoming epic adventure “Gods of Egypt,” Gerard will also spend some time working with the Caribbean Premier League cricket team Jamaica Tallawahs, of which he recently became an investor.

Butler shared, “It is obvious that this tournament is the home of the greatest party in sport so I wanted to get in on the fun. Having said that, as a Scotsman I definitely have an appreciation for cricket and I also recognize that the CPL is a great combination of sports and entertainment. I’m excited about joining the Jamaica Tallawahs franchise, and hopefully being a part of the team that wins the inaugural tournament.”
