Fan Favorite Bill Nye Gets the Axe from “Dancing with the Stars”

Mixing old Hollywood glamour with theatrical, modern dance moves, "Dancing with the Stars" celebrated Hollywood night on Monday evening's episode (September 30).

Taking the stage first was "King of Queens" beauty Leah Remini and her partner Tony Dovolani who danced a James Bond inspired Rumba to the tune of a 24 out of 30.

Making for an impressive next round of dances, Corbin Bleu and his pro Karina Smirnoff quickstepped their way to an impressive score of 26 while Elizabeth Berkley and Val Chmerkovskiy pulled in a 25 with their foxtrot.

Although he didn't make it to the top of the leader board, Bill Nye still gave it his all despite his injured tendon. Moving slowly to try and stay in the game, he and his partner Tyne Stecklein came up with a clever robot inspired Jazz number which earned them a 16, but unfortunately were sent home packing.
