TMZ has obtained video footage of DMX running around a hotel hallway in Detroit without any clothes on, with his apparent reason being “just because he felt like.”

The footage begins with DMX walking around a hotel hallway in just his boxer shorts, socks and house arrest ankle bracelet … while a hotel employee removes room service from one of the rooms on the floor.

All of the sudden, X ducks behind a corner with a mischievous grin on his face — drops his shorts — and launches into a full ass naked, dong-out sprint. Eventually, X returns to the starting line and grabs his drawers … and then casually walks back toward his room as if nothing ever happened.

The video is pretty bizarre to say the least, but when you think about the subject, you can’t really be too surprised now can you?

TMZ says they reached out to the rapper, and he told him that he just “felt like” running around a hotel floor naked, adding that he’s “not ashamed” of what he’s got.

X’s rep followed up with New York Daily News, saying that he did it to kill time before a performance on August 31, calling it a “playful dare between friends.”

Well at least he didn’t get arrested for anything … though, running around naked in public places is probably not a good idea when you’re already in trouble with the law, hence the reason why you’re even wearing an ankle bracelet. Just a thought.
