With two uber-successful “Despicable Me” films under their belt, Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment are hoping for a hat trick with the forthcoming sequel “Minions.”

According to the studio, Steve Carell and the gang will be back on July 15th, 2015 under the direction of Kyle Balda and Pierre Coffin.

Originally slated to hit theaters on December 19th, 2014, the animated flick will also feature the voices of Jon Hamm, Sandra Bullock and Chris Renaud.

Per the synopsis, “Gru is recruited by an organization to stop Scarlet Overkill, a super-villain who, alongside her inventor husband Herb, hatches a plot to take over the world.”
