She’s having an uber-busy week, and Selena Gomez headed over to the El Capitan Theatre for an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last night (August 1).

The “Come and Get It” songstress, who also showed up at the Young Hollywood Awards, looked gorgeous as she gave out a few hugs before scurrying inside to do her interview.

Miss Gomez is riding high on the success of her new album Stars Dance, which has claimed the #1 spot on the Billboard Album Chart after knocking out Jay-Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail.

Of her latest release, Selena told press, "Genuinely, the whole record is me being a woman and wanting to explore that and being comfortable in my skin and my body, and exuding confidence.”

"People speculate or think what they want to think, but it's been really fun for me to kind of explore what I want to explore."
