Putting on a wedding gown for the first time since her marriage to Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes filmed for "Miss Meadows" in Cleveland, Ohio on Friday (August 23).

The "Dawson's Creek" star wore a lacy traditional dress with a long veil and matching gloves along with white socks and black Mary Janes as she prepped the next scene.

Written and directed by Karen Leigh Hopkins, the low-budget film is expected to be released sometime next year.

Co-starring in the flick are James Badge Dale, Callan Mulvey, and Ava Kolker. Joining her mom in her home state is little Suri Cruise, who took a break to grab ice cream with her mom earlier this week.
