Bill Murray Goes Liberace on “The Late Show”

He’s well-known for pulling out all the stops, and Bill Murray made quite an entrance on “The Late Show with David Letterman.”

The “Groundhog Day” actor was in the house to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the show, given that he was Letterman’s very first guest way back in 1993.

And Bill’s elaborate white car, manservants, and silly little dog all pointed to the fact that he was channeling the spirit of the late flamboyant performer Liberace.

Dave joked, “I didn’t know you had a dog,” to which Bill replied, “I had to get something that went with this outfit.”

Murray added, “You know I love you audience, I love you. But I don’t have time tonight. I’m only here for one reason,” before pointing to Letterman with a cheeky grin on his face.
