Hard at work on her birthday, Amy Adams stepped on set in Vancouver Tuesday (August 20).

Upon her arrival, the "Man of Steel" beauty discovered her daughter Aviana and fiance Darren Le Gallo stopped by to celebrate her 39th birthday.

The mother-of-one, still in costume, was all-smiles as she carried her daughter around the set.

Miss Adams is currently working on her upcoming biopic "Big Eyes."

Per the synopsis, "Big Eyes" is a drama centered on the awakening of the painter Margaret Keane, her phenomenal success in 1950s, and the subsequent legal difficulties she had with her husband, who claimed credit for her works in the 1960s.

Starring alongside Miss Adams are Krysten Ritter and Christoph Waltz.
