After nearly a year together, Zachary Quinto and Jonathan Groff have decided to call it quits on their relationship.

The pair reportedly broke it off this spring, but a source close to the couple insists that “they remain friends” despite the fizzled romance.

The "Star Trek" actor publicly announced that he was gay back in 2011 in an issue of New York magazine before later becoming linked with Groff in 2012.

Despite the bad news regarding his personal life, Zachary's career is still continuing to grow as he works on his upcoming film, "The Invitation" and stars in FX's series, "American Horror Story."
