She has been a frequent guest co-host, and now Jenny McCarthy may be a permanent fixture on ABC’s talk show “The View.”

According to sources at the show, the 40-year-old actress is in talks to replace Joy Behar when she departs the chat fest in August.

“The cast and crew get a kick out of Jenny," a set source told US Weekly. "She's a good fit. She may not be able to carry a show, but she works well with a group ensemble."

Ms. McCarthy currently has her own show on VH1, however it is not highly rated and indications are she would be open to joining the women of “The View.”
