NeNe Leakes Fires Back at Wedding Planner Lawsuit

Someone is about to learn they messed with the wrong "Housewife." After wedding planner Tiffany Cook filed a lawsuit for alleged unpaid fees against NeNe Leakes, the "Celebrity Apprentice" star quickly fired back with her own plans to sue.

Earlier this week, Tiffany Cook of Dream Design Weddings filed a suit claiming the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star promised to compensate her 15 percent of the wedding budget, but only ended up paying an $18,000 down payment.

Though she's asking for $2.5 million in damages, the newlywed denies the allegations, tweeting on Friday (July 26), "Girl go sit down somewhere! Stop using my name 2 try an bring ur broke down wedding business up! What wedding planner get a million $ 2 plan a wedding! We n the wrong business! Please show me a contract I sign! Show me a check I wrote u.”

Threatening her own legal action, she later posted, "Do Not make me put together my dream team of attorneys hunni! Phaedra Parks, Star Jones & the accident attorney Ken Nugent. I signed a contract wit u? I wrote u a check? Let me call Ken Nugent right now! A accident attorney can handle this 4 sho LOL."

According to Ms. Leakes rep, she told GossipCop, "The wedding planner of note was Tony Conway, he rendered the services that made NeNe’s wedding the spectacular, memorable affair that it was. Ms. Cook’s lawsuit has no merit and it appears to be a baseless attempt to grab fifteen minutes of fame after Ms. Cook and her company were terminated early in the planning process."
