It’s really hard not to feel bad for Mya. She can carry a note with a little bit of weight, she dances phenomenally, writes her own material and has even created her own beats. And yet, she’s dropping albums in Japan and not America, her home country.

Fortunately, mama is working on new material. Making an appearance at the BET Awards, Mya discussed her forthcoming single and album:
