Crushed after the sudden death of her longtime boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith, Lea Michele's rep issued a statement this morning (July 14) on her behalf.

Revealing little about her reaction, the statement reads, "We ask that everyone kindly respect Lea’s privacy during this devastating time.”

Back in March, the "Glee" star stood by her man as he headed to rehab for substance abuse, sharing, "I am grateful and proud he made this decision.”

After completing the program, the 31-year-old seemed to be in high spirits, enjoying vacation time with his girlfriend.
