Just a month after news broke that her relationship was headed for splitsville, Jane Lynch has officially filed for divorce from her wife, Lara Embry.

On Friday (July 12), the "Glee" actress filed the documents in the Los Angeles County Court citing the always-popular "irreconcilable differences."

Although news of the split only made headlines back in June, the new paperwork suggests that the couple have actually been separated since February.

Jane and Lara met back in 2009 at a fundraiser in San Francisco and were married a year later in Massachusetts. Lynch is hoping to terminate the court's jurisdiction on awarding Embry spousal support.
