Walking hand-in-hand, newlyweds Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez arrived at a scheduled doctor’s appointment Wednesday (July 31) in Los Angeles.

French actor Martinez and Oscar winner Berry tied the knot earlier this month in a private wedding ceremony in France. Berry announced her pregnancy in April. The couple says they’re having a boy.

The actress is expecting her second child. Berry’s five-year-old daughter Nahla is from a previous relationship with model Gabriel Aubrey.

The 46-year-old mom-to-be says she plans to resume acting almost immediately after giving birth. She’s set to star as a woman on the run from the mafia in her next movie, an indie comedy called “Mother.” It’s slated to start production in early 2014.
