He’s on top of his game after a victory at Wimbledon yesterday and this morning (July 8) Andy Murray granted an interview to the “Today” show.

The Scottish tennis stud discussed how it felt to battle Novak Djokovic and end up the first British player to win Wimbledon in 77 years.

And when it was all over, Murray almost forgot to give his own mother a kiss because of some post-match confusion.

Andy explained, “So I went up into the box where all my family and friends were sitting but my mom wasn’t actually sitting in there. She was sitting a few rows back, and obviously when I’m playing the match I’ve got no idea where everyone is. But I heard her screaming to me to come back when I was on my way down so I saw her in the end.”
