Taking care of some media duties, Adam Sandler paid a visit to “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” last night (July 10).

The “Happy Gilmore” star explained that while it may look like a deer peed in his mouth during the opening scene, it was really just a man.

“My character moves back, he goes from a Hollywood lifestyle to moving back to his hometown where he grew up with all of his friends. And there’s a scene where a deer gets into my bedroom and Salma [Hayek] screams and it startles him and the deer pees in my face and I open my mouth and it pees in my mouth… it’s gotta happen. It’s comedy; you gotta open your mouth and get the pee in there.”

“Everyone’s like, ‘Wow, you really had a deer pee in your mouth, Adam?’ It’s not a real deer. What they did, is it’s like a CGI special effect. There was a man in a green suit and he peed in my mouth and we drew the deer around him.”
