While “Man of Steel” won’t hit theaters until Friday, it appears that Warner Bros. is already ordering and fast tracking a sequel to the highly anticipated film.

In a report from Deadline on Monday (June 10), the action adventure’s director Zack Snyder and screenwriter David Goyer will both return to their respective positions.

Meanwhile, the current motion picture follows journalist Clark Kent who is forced to confront his secret extraterrestrial heritage when Earth is invaded by members of his race.

Starring Henry Cavill as Clark and Amy Adams as Lois Lane, the movie hits theaters nationwide on June 14.
