After five other films, it's a wonder the sixth hasn't lost any steam as "Fast & Furious 6" raced its way to worldwide box office success.

Universal Pictures announced on Thursday (June 6) that the sequel became the fastest movie to hit $500 million at the worldwide box office in studio history.

Hitting No. 1 in all sixty territories where it opened, the flick also earned Universal's highest-grossing opening weekend of all time.

Including many of the original cast members, "Fast & Furious 6" stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, and Ludacris.
