Getting an early start to the day, Michael Douglas and Matt- Damon attended a press conference for their new flick “Behind the Candelabra” at the 66th Cannes Film Festival this morning (May 21).

The “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps” veteran and his “Bourne Identity” buddy were joined by Richard Lagravanese, Jerry Weintraub, and Steven Soderbergh as they posed for photos and fielded questions.

In the flick, Michael plays flamboyant pianist Liberace, who fell in love with his chauffeur, played by Damon. Douglas shared, “As far as making out with Matt, it’s not so bad.”

“We rehearsed the scenes. For me, I guess that biggest thrill is when I first saw it, after a few minutes, I really forget it’s Matt. Matt and Mike, you know? I just forget it’s us.”
