Heading home after enjoying some sunshine on the holiday weekend, Katie Holmes and Suri arrived back in New York City on Monday (May 27).

Casually clad in jeans and a black and white striped sweater, the "Dawson's Creek" darling helped her still sleepy mini-me tote her cozy blanket as they headed to their awaiting vehicle.

Always one to be around family, the mother-daughter duo spent the last couple days in Rosemary Beach, Florida with friends and loved ones.

While on their get-away, the 34-year-old and her daughter managed to get in some shopping and grab lunch at Summer Kitchen Cafe where they feasted on chicken salad and iced tea.
