Don’t it always seem to go that you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone? It’s not just a Carly Simon song, it’s a truism that has come crashing down around Erica Mena’s head now that Rich Dollaz has washed his hands of her personally and professionally.

Rich goes back to his first love (professionally speaking of course), Olivia and asks her to cut the track that he gave to Erica. When Erica catches wind of Rich’s scheme, she fumes and breaks down in tears accusing Rich of betrayal and deceit. But Rich, for once, isn’t fazed by Erica’s theatrics. She storms out of the studio and vows that she’ll make it on her own. Is this the last we’ll see of Erica Mena?

Meanwhile, Lore’l has managed to find another castmate to weasel with. This time it’s with Consequence. Cons lies and says that he scouted Lore’l through the Internet and decided to work with her. Right. Just like he also “stumbled” across Olivia for that other song he wanted to put her on? These producers need to cut the BS and stop inventing faux scenarios.

Lore’l and Cons hit it off and cut a track together, but Lore’l is hesitant about a line in the song that talks about light skin being the right skin. Cons says that the line needs to stay in because controversy sells. Lore’l, on the other hand, isn’t convinced that she needs the drama of a colorist battle.
