He’s having a pretty huge year, having proposed to Catherine Giudici on “The Bachelor” and Sean Lowe just announced some more exciting news.

The reality television stud will join the cast of “Dancing with the Stars” for the upcoming 16th season and has already been training with partner Peta Murgatroyd.

Sean told “Good Morning America,” “Hopefully I won’t make a fool of myself on the dance floor.”

Executive producer Conrad Green explained, "He's a great guy and it's a great story. He's the name on everyone's lips. And then the next day we announce he's going to be on our show. It's really good fun all around. He's been training and he gets on well with his partner. He's a charming guy."

As for the timing, Green noted, "There was a desire not to have the message of this show interfere with The Bachelor. We felt it was fine to delay the announcement of Sean being on the show until that was cleared. And it's nice to make the announcement just in time for our show."
