Heading to Austin to showcase his upcoming film, Matthew McConaughey attended the "Mud" screening at the 2013 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival at the Paramount Theatre on Sunday (March 10).

The "Lincoln Lawyer" star dressed casually in a blue button-down shirt, brown leather jacket, blue jeans, and a fedora.

With the handsome 43-year-old in the title role, "Mud" tells the story of a fugitive who forms a pact with two teenage boys to evade the bounty hunters on his trail and reunite with his true love.

Written and directed by Jeff Nichols, the drama costars Reese Witherspoon and hits theaters in the U.S. on April 26th.
