They met a few years back while co-starring in the film “Goon,” and now it seems Jay Baruchel and Alison Pill have decided to go their separate ways.

The “How To Train Your Dragon” hunk and his “Newsroom” babe got engaged back in December 2010, and Jay was the first to leak the news on his Twitter account.

Baruchel tweeted, “Alone again, naturally. Heartbroken,” followed by, “Getting dumped rules,” though he quickly deleted the messages shortly thereafter.

An insider told press, "Working and living in Canada is something that [Baruchel] is very passionate about. He wanted her up there more often, but she really likes Newsroom and the opportunities that are there for her. They were doing the long distance [thing] a lot."

A few months ago, Alison accidentally treated her Twitter followers to a picture of herself topless, prompting Jay to respond, “Hilarious.”
