Trying his own rendition of pal Taylor Swift's hit "I Knew You Were Trouble," Ed Sheeran performed the cover on the Australian radio show, "Hamish & Andy" on Monday (March 4).

In town for a world tour, the 22-year-old British musician takes on the break-up song princess's tune with just the aid of an acoustic guitar.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, the red-haired crooner's cover has some big shoes to fill if it's going to get as many YouTube views as the most famous version of that track.

Carefully edited with the noise of a bleating goat in the chorus, the goated version of "I Knew You Were Trouble" racked up over 7 million views. Check out Ed's take in the video below.
