She was an entertainment icon of the 1970s and 80s and now Bonnie Franklin has died of pancreatic cancer.

The 69-year-old actress was well known for her work on “One Day At A Time” from 1975-1984 with Mackenzie Phillips and Valerie Bertinelli.

Later in her life, Bonnie actually reunited with Bertinelli for a 2011 episode of “Hot in Cleveland,” and one year later she announced that she was ill with cancer.

Upon hearing the news, Phillips took to her Twitter account to declare, “Sending out love and sweet prayers to my ‘mom.’ The incomparable Bonnie Franklin.”
