Johnny Depp Stops by “Late Show with David Letterman”

Making a rare public appearance, Johnny Depp headed into New York City’s Ed Sullivan Theatre on Thursday afternoon (February 21).

The 49-year-old actor kept a low profile as he waved to his awaiting fan base before heading inside for his interview on the “Late Show with David Letterman.”

In music news, the “Lone Ranger” star is reportedly releasing a new record featuring a collection of pirate-inspired songs with his “Pirates of the Caribbean” director Gore Verbinski.

Nick Cave, Keith Richards, Tom Waits, Michael Gira and Iggy Pop are all expected to make appearances on the sure-to-be interesting mix.
