Despite the untimely death of its star, the reality show "I Love Jenni" will return for a third season beginning April 29, a spokesman for Telemundo announced on Tuesday (February 12).

The show centers on the late singer Jenni Rivera, who was killed when a small plane she was riding in crashed in Mexico on December 9, 2012.

Featuring footage filmed in the month before the 43-year-old's death, there will also be several episodes showing how her family, including her sister and children, are trying to cope after the tragedy.

In preparation for the series' return, mun2 will air a special on April 7 titled "We Love Jenni," which will feature interviews with Mario Lopez, Carson Daly and Thalia among others.
