She’s transformed herself into a country star in her new television gig “Nashville,” and Hayden Panettiere shows off her vocal chops in a new clip from the show.

The “Heroes” hottie sings the 1980s hit “Fame” with all of the conviction and inspiration of Music City’s finest, and she looks great doing it, too.

Hayden’s new video also features clips from the past season of the show, in which she plays the moody and demanding songstress Juliette Barnes.

Of the role, Panettiere told press, “It’s so much fun. It’s a dream come true, honestly. I recorded for years when I was younger and I always said that my heart lays with country music.”
