Chris Brown Talks Rihanna Romance, Domestic Violence

He’s kept pretty hush-hush regarding his Grammy night beating of girlfriend Rihanna, but Chris Brown has finally opened up about the violent incident.

In a new interview with the Mirror, the “Don’t Wake Me Up” singer comes clean about his behavior as well as his rekindled romance with his Barbadian beauty.

Chris begins, "Sometimes you row, you fight, with the one you love and things get said, stuff spirals. That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake. But she loves me - what can I say? I'm forgiven … but, yes, I worked hard for it."

Brown also noted that he’s become more mature in the subsequent years, something that has served him well in the entertainment industry. "I was very young and I took a lot of stuff, fame, for granted. I didn't understand it. The support from those who do know me and the fans, who are incredible, got me through."

As for Seth MacFarlane’s Oscar swipe against him, Chris declared, "People attack me and criticize me. It happens all the time. But they don't know me, and they don't know us. It doesn't bother me anymore."

Corroborating Brown’s story, Rihanna previously told Rolling Stone magazine, "He's not the monster everyone thinks. He's a good person. He's giving and loving. He's fun to be around and he has a fantastic heart."
