It’s been a tough road for the family of late pop star Whitney Houston since her death, and Oprah Winfrey interviews Whitney’s brother Michael Houston on the upcoming episode of “Oprah’s Next Chapter.”

And the talk show queen doesn’t pull any punches, directly asking Mr. Houston if he is the one who gave the “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” songstress her first taste of crack cocaine.

Michael admits that he was, indeed, the first person to do drugs with Whitney, noting, “It’s painful… I feel responsible for what I let go so far.”

He adds, “You gotta understand at the time… the 80s… it was acceptable,” while getting emotionally upset.

Furthermore, Michael’s admission serves to absolve Houston’s ex-husband Bobby Brown of the blame he’s carried for supposedly getting Whitney into drugs.
