After cuddling close during a pre-holiday trip to Salt Lake City, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have reportedly broken up again.

According to the Daily News, the on-again-off-again pair flew to Mexico to ring in the new year, but soon engaged in a big blow-up argument that caused the brunette beauty to fly home alone on Sunday (December 30). The "Boyfriend" singer reportedly followed suit on New Year's Eve (December 31).

The insider revealed, "They keep breaking up and getting back together. It's an on-again, off-again relationship. It's probably not correct to characterize this as a final breakup."

The 20-year-old "Spring Breakers" star may have hinted about the break on her Twitter account, sharing Tuesday (January 1), "New beginnings. Fresh start. I love you all :)."
