Rewarding her little one with a yummy after school treat, Katie Holmes took her daughter Suri Cruise to the Shake Shack in New York City this afternoon (January 30).

Sporting a casually chic outfit, the "Teaching Mrs. Tingle" actress escorted her mini me to an awaiting SUV while the six year-old fashionista kept warm in a fur jacket and knee high black boots.

Though Katie is currently enjoying some down time in her career since her Broadway play "Dead Accounts" has ended, the rumor is buzzing that she could be heading to law school for a new career.

At this time no plans have been confirmed, but, this isn't the first time that the 34 year-old Tinseltown star has sought out higher education as she applied to Columbia University back in the 90's.
