Dialing up the sophistication for a red carpet event, Carly Rae Jepsen attended the NRJ Music Awards 2013 at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France on Saturday (January 26).

The "Call Me Maybe" singer looked beautiful in a brown sleeveless gown with a black clutch and her hair worn down.

At the annual ceremony honoring popular musicians of various genres, the 27-year-old songstress was nominated for International Record of the Year and International Newcomer of the Year - the latter of which she took home the prize.

In addition to being nominated, Ms. Jepsen also performed at the show. Sharing her thoughts on the evening with her Twitter followers, Carly tweeted, "Cannes was just MAGIC! Thank you to all of my beautiful French fans! xo" Check out the video of her performance below.
