Taylor Swift Tops Channing Miley as 2012’s Most Charitable Star

Giving back to the fans who gave her so much, Taylor Swift topped DoSomething.org’s list of 2012’s most charitable stars. The "Red" songstress gave $4 million to the Country Hall of Fame Museum and was the youngest person ever to receive the Ripple of Hope Award from the Robert F. Kennedy Center for her efforts. Hot on the heels of Miss Swift while placing second on the list was Miley Cyrus - as the 20-year-old garnered recognition for her awareness raising contributions to Saving Spot!, a non-profit which dedicates itself to finding homes for dogs in high-kill shelters. Rounding out the top ten in charitable celebrities are Channing Tatum, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Robin Roberts, Pink, LeBron James, Selena Gomez, and Ian Somerhalder.
