Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor Attend "The Impossible" Hollywood Premiere

In anticipation of next week's release, the stars of "The Impossible" came out for the Hollywood premier at the Arclight Cinerama Dome on Monday (December 10).

Attending the event to support their efforts were stars and on-screen husband and wife Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor. Also on hand to support the disaster flick was "Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul.

In the film based on the 2004 Asian tsunami, a family is caught, with tens of thousands of strangers, in the mayhem of one of the worst natural catastrophes of our time.

During filming, Naomi did a bit of unintentional method acting. She explains, "When we were shooting in the tank, we really weren't acting. We were anchored in these chairs as the wave machine broke over us. There was a moment when I came up for air but couldn't get out of the chair. I was already out of breath and the chair took me under again." The Juan Antonio Bayona-directed film hits theaters on December 21st.
