The ‘Monte Carlo’ beauty obtains a restraining order against Thomas Brodnicki, a man with a mental illness history who admits to having had a conversation with God about killing the starlet.Selena Gomez has taken a quick step to prevent herself from getting hurt by a man who recently sent her a serious death threat. The girlfriend of Justin Bieber has filed for and obtained a restraining order at Los Angeles Superior Court against a 46-year-old man who allegedly wanted to kill her.

TMZ reported that Selena has filed the order on October 13 against Thomas Brodnicki, a man with a criminal history of stalking. According to Selena’s lawyer Blair Berk, Brodnicki told his shrink that he traveled from Chicago to L.A. to meet the “Monte Carlo” actress. He also visited her workplace at least 3 times and told people that he had a conversation with God about killing the starlet.

Selena and her lawyer suggested Brodnicki was having a mental evaluation in September after he reportedly threatened to “scratch people’s eyes out on the street.” That man allegedly revealed his plan to kill Selena during the mental evaluation with his psychiatrist.

Following the death threat, Selena is said to be in “extreme fear”. She believes that Brodnicki could really hurt her if he is not stopped. LAPD detectives are handling the case “extremely seriously” because of Brodnicki’s history of mental illness and spreading death threats.
