The 'Glee' hunk drives the crowd at Chicago's Northalsted Market Days into a frenzy when his phone begins ringing just as he is about to hit the chorus of Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream'.
Darren Criss experiences a little hiccup in his recent stage performance. Taking part at Chicago's Gay Pride festival, Northalsted Market Days, last Saturday afternoon, August 13, the actor playing Blaine on "Glee" has to briefly stop his rendition of Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" because of his cell phone.

The 24-year-old heartthrob took the stage to sing the number accompanied only by his keyboard playing. As he was just about to hit the chorus of the tune, his phone began ringing, which sent the crowd into a frenzy. He jokingly blamed it on his band, before jumping back to finish his performance.

The "Teenage Dream" cover was not the only song he performed on stage at the Market Days. Among the tune he chose to sing at the annual event, he also debuted a jazzy new tune entitled "Another Love Affair". Before the show, he wrote on Twitter, "I love being in Chicago. Anyone in the area wanna come by and jam out with me at Northalsted Market Days today at 4:30?"

Later on, Darren also took to the social networking site to thank those who participated in performing flashmob dance to his songs. "HUGE thanks to the fans & street team! Just crossed 'witness a flashmob dance to your songs' off my bucket list," so he tweeted. "That was very special :)"
