Demi Lovato has just celebrated her 19th birthday. On August 18, the "Skyscraper" singer held a party at the exclusive Beacher's Madhouse in Hollywood. The birthday girl looked dazzling in a silver spiked-shoulder dress by Marco Marco.
The former "Sonny with a Chance" star actually won't turn 19 until this coming Saturday, August 20. However, she decided to celebrate it two days earlier in a joint party with her BFF Hanna Beth Merjos who is clothing designer for Sober Is Sexy.
They threw alcohol-free bash with a glam rock theme for the Thursday night gathering. One of the attendees told PEOPLE, "There was no alcohol, but an open Red Bull bar. People who weren't dressed glam rock weren't admitted." The source added, "Demi mingled with everyone and was such a sweetheart. She danced on stage with Hanna Beth, drank Red Bull and danced a lot."
The place was decorated with Demi and Hanna's pictures all over the walls. There were also two birthday cakes for each of them. Among the celebrity guests spotted at the evening were Derek Hough, Tiffany Thornton, Hunter Parrish and Samuel Larsen.
At that night, Samuel took to his Twitter to share his excitement about the party, writing, "Off to celebrate the birth of @ddlovato in party form #partymonsters." Another Demi's bestie, Jenna Schubart also posted a twitpic of herself and Demi during the bash. She put a note on it, "Me and @ddlovato ... Happy birthday!!! I love you"
