Lea Michele NOT Giving Charice the Boot From 'Glee'

Lea Michele reportedly is the reason why Charice got kicked out of "Glee". Rumor has it, the producers of the FOX hit series intentionally cut the Filipino songstress' scenes on the last season of the show because they don't want to upset the Rachel Berry depicter as the main diva. However, a spokesman from the musical series quickly shot down the report.
"This is categorically untrue," so the spokesman claimed. "We love Charice, and she was a wonderful addition to 'Glee' last season. While it is true that she appeared in fewer episodes last year than we originally anticipated, this was due to her busy schedule and the natural creative process in which some story arcs... did not materialize as planned."
The spokesperson also went on defending Lea, saying, "Lea is a consummate pro who couldn't be more welcoming of other powerhouse singers on the show, from Kristin Chenoweth to Idina Menzel, who is set to reprise her role as Rachel's birth mom this fall."
Rumor of Lea giving Charice the boot from "Glee" was first run by NY Post's Page Six. A source revealed, "Charice was signed for a minimum of five episodes and did a press junket with [fellow new star] Chord Overstreet. She had a big debut, but things changes and they didn't put her back in. The word is, Lea is the big star, and producers want to keep her happy."
Back then, creator Ryan Murphy introduced Charice with fanfare as saying, "When that girl opens her mouth, angels fly out. She's coming back for five episodes at the end of the year. Lots of big, big, big ballads for Charice." In fact, the singer only appeared in two episodes, playing less important role. A source said that she "was made to look much less adorable."
Despite the rivalry rumors, Lea herself didn't consider Charice as a threat. Instead, she sang praises for the talented singer, saying, "She's definitely the tiniest ball of talent I've ever seen in my life." The actress who is dating Broadway actor Theo Stockman went on gushing, "Charice is beyond talented!"
