As she sings about the torture of being away from the one she loves, the 'Born This Way' hitmaker presents her many faces which also include her mermaid incarnation, Yuyi.
Lady GaGa has treated Little Monsters with an official music video for latest single "You and I". In the elaborate clip that runs more than six minutes long, the "Born This Way" hitmaker presents the many faces of hers, including her male alter ego, Jo Calderone, and her mermaid incarnation, Yuyi.

This follow-up video to "The Edge of Glory" was actually set to be premiered on Thursday, August 18 via MTV, but GaGa was forced to release it earlier after it leaked online Tuesday (August 16) morning. "F***. THURS. DAY," she wrote in three separate tweets before rushing to unleash the official one.

Shot in Nebraska in July, the video opens with a short footage of GaGa strutting down a deserted highway in a black dress, oversized black saucer hat and black high heels. It then cuts to snippets that show a number of her different personas. "You must love all + every part of me, as must I, for this complex + incomprehensible force to be true," the singer wrote in another tweet.

Explaining about the concept of the video, GaGa has previously told Omaha radio station 94.1 it is about the "idea that when you're away from someone you love, it's torture." The 25-year-old continued, "I knew I wanted the video to be about me sprinting back and walking hundreds of thousands of miles to get him back."
