After five years of dating, James Franco and girlfriend Ahna O’Reilly have gone their separate ways.

In an interview with Playboy, Franco, 33, revealed that he and his girlfriend of 5 years have called it quits, according to NY Daily News. In the magazine, Franco says, “It’s over. We’d been living together in L.A. and then came to New York to go to school for two years. Then I signed up for more school at Yale. I think that was it for her.”

Attending Yale wasn’t the only thing taking up Franco’s time. The ambitious multitasker is an “octuple threat”, by being an actor, director, author, screenwriter, producer, painter, model, AND musician (if Wikipedia is correct).

Gah! When did the couple EVER have time for one another?? Maybe this break is for best.
