Eva Longoria is mastering her stripper skills for an upcoming story line on Desperate Housewives — and all the pole dancing practice is helping spice up her love life with her 26-year-old beau, Eduardo Cruz!

After learning that her character, mischievous mom Gabrielle Solis, would have some striptease scenes during season eight of her hit ABC show, Eva set out to become a pro by hiring Hollywood’s top pole-dancing instructor, Sheila Kelley, who’s worked with other A-listers like Kate Hudson and Amy Adams.

“Eva is a natural,” says a source. “She loved learning all the sexy moves strippers use when they perform on stage.”

Eva, 36, is no stranger to the pole. In a 2009 appearance on Lopez Tonight (left), the actress gave the audience a thrill by taking a spin on a stripper pole.

Now her skills are heating up things between the sheets with Eduardo.

“The dance studio was fun for her,” the source reveals. “She had a chance to practice her sexy moves in front of him. And Eva says the red-hot performance was a turn-on for them both.”
