Paris Hilton is one of those famous-for-being-famous celebs. The fame that this infamous heiress has garnered has become a category for people who’re famous for not doing much, except for being rich, having a reality show on their lives or making sex tapes. The TV bosses over at Oxygen
are not impressed by Hilton’s reality TV show The World According to Paris.

The show premiered in June clocking merely 409,000 viewers and it never picked up. In fact, viewership numbers kept dropping fast with every subsequent episode.

Now, the channel bosses are not renewing Hilton’s contract for a second series, reports New York magazine’s Vulture blog.

‘The show just recently completed its run and no pick up decision has been made,’ a spokesperson for the show told Gossipcop.com.

Previosuly, Hilton stormed out of an interview on Good Morning America when ABC correspondent Dan Harris asked her whether she felt that her time had passed.

Looking uncomfortable, Hilton shifted in her chair and looked over at her publicist. She then got up and walked off the set saying, ‘I don’t want all this being used.’

Harris was quizzing her about feeling eclipsed by fellow reality celebrity Kim Kardashian. Hilton was not invited for Kardashian’s mega wedding, even though they were once friends.

‘Do you worry at times that people who have followed in your footsteps like Kim Kardashian are overshadowing you?,’ Harris asked.

Unfair. It was pioneer Paris who led the way for others to make a flourishing reality-TV fuelled career.
